Founders’ KBS Series has its variety and I’m still trying to find them all to rate them. This one is for coffee lovers. I’m not sold on any of these brews as of yet. Flavors are misleading, and the 12% ABV leaves a heavy ethanol finish. Still tasting.

As good as a reasonably priced, year round available, BBA Imperial Coffee Stout gets. A beautiful breakfast beer!

Really good but definitely underwhelming given some of the great stouts I have drank in my like. Tons of chocolate and coffee as expected but I definitely prefer dessert stouts. Beer pick up @halfbarrelbeerproject! Awesome place!

You're hit with chocolate, then coffee and a bourbon finish, but the flavours are mute and blur. The booze factor is definitely there though. A bit disappointing.

One of the best, huge caramel aroma and a slight sweetness - pretty smooth drinkable stout

And the conclusion to the FF is of course KBS! Big coffee forward and through the end until the bourbon kicks in. So good...1st on left
