It's been awhile since I got to enjoy this special beer. Thanks to a friend's birthday gift, I was able to experience all its complexities. Boozy but smooth, rich yet drinkable, packed with coffee and cocoa and bourbon. Best drank cold for me. Great.

The global rating of this beer is crazy. This is at best above average and for a BA stout, I’d hope for more flavors. This and Dragon’s Milk is probably the most easy to find BA stout but Dragon’s Milk for me is much better and more flavorful.

Such a cool, crisp day. Perfect for a big stout. Ok, so maybe I’m exaggerating the coolness and crispness and just wanted a a rich, boozy, chocolaty stout. Hopefully Kathleen M. can enjoy one with me soon.
