Not big on stout beers, but this was amazing and COMPLETELY different than the typical beers I drink. I would like to get another one and pair it with a breakfast meal, great excuse for having breakfast at dinner time!

Almost has a bite like bourbon. Stronger than the Frangelic KBS. Not as chocolaty, not as hazelnutty, not as creamy.

The King of Barrel Stouts (KBS). Have some spreadsheet work to get done, so thought that this was a good enough reason to crack and pour my final bottle of Founders. This smacks your mouth around with coffee, bourbon, and chocolate in all the right ways.

Can’t think of many issues with this beer. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Coffee nose with a coffee sweet chocolate taste. Long coffee finish.

Great chocolate coffee stout. You do get a little of that bourbon aging in the after notes.
