Härlig doft och mjuk vid intag. Sedan kommer smaken och styrkan. Bränner lite på tungan. En mycket fin och god stout med mycket smak!

The King of Barrel Stouts (KBS). Have some spreadsheet work to get done, so thought that this was a good enough reason to crack and pour my final bottle of Founders. This smacks your mouth around with coffee, bourbon, and chocolate in all the right ways.

Wife blocks me from beer fridge, so gotta pull a “Marco” and go for the room temp brew. 🤣. Such a great brew - perhaps even better without the craziness to get the seasonal release.

Sweet roasted caramel, some booziness, hints of coffee, thick, malty, and smooooth. Such a great stout.

Her e vi altså så god, atte. Nydelig sterk stout med massevis av kaffe og sjokolade, pluss behagelig moden og tørka frukt fra bourbon-fat. Denne falt om mulig ennu bedre i smak enn cbs'n tel Founders.

Bottled 10.09.20. Pours a thick, honeycombed beige tan head wth an aroma of char. Flavor is vanilla char, cocoa (nibs) and oak. The smooth medium-thick mouthfeel belies the 12% ABV until ... 😊
