Still one of the best porters in the state! Sweet dark roasted maltiness. Chocolatey and coffee roastiness. Bitter hoppiness. Smooth. Slight caramel. Dark, rich and sexy indeed.

Very dark beer, foam dissipated quickly. Toasted, nutty aroma with hints of cherry. Bittersweet dark chocolate flavor, bitter finish to balance maltiness. Medium bodied, rich, and very strong flavor. Bitter almost sour aftertaste

I'm always glad when I revisit a beer I've had before, particularly if it's been a while. Tastes change, appreciations develop, and my scoring system gets tweaked. I used to be SUPER stingy with 4+ ratings now I'm only a little stingy. This remains solid.

It should get a 5 simply because of the fact that I drank it at work on Monday afternoon. Nonetheless, my taste buds give it a 3

First porter I’ve tried so I can’t reference this to other porters. However, I can say that this is very flavorful and satisfying.
