quite dark, a bit ruby under the light. v intense chocolate, coffee, and caramel relative to other examples of the style near this ABV. a definite crowd pleaser and campfire companion..but light enough that it doesn’t feel out of place in spring

Rich, sweet and dark porter. Nice depth with a gentle burnt malt flavour as well. A properly good example. 8.5/10.

Drinking GR in Sacramento. Can’t believe I haven’t checked this in before. If you want a good porter, this is the one. Actually fairly light for a porter. Drinking this currently on an 80 degree day.

So good. Creamy and roasty with an amazing mouthful. Thin like a porter but mimics a stout very impressed.

One of the benchmarks for widely available american porters. The roast is fleeting, nice sweet touch. Full bodied.

Dark black pour with small-finger of a tan/khaki head that leaves lacing. Rich and creamy w/ dark coffee, chocolate notes. Wonderfully balanced between malts and hops. Perfect ABV at 6.5%. An exquisite porter.

Nice body and plenty of chocolate and caramel malt. Hops flavor is subtle but balances the sweetness well. Very smooth with a velvety finish. One of my favorite porters.

Niet helemaal een biertje voor een zonnige middag maar damn wat goed. Geroosterde koffie en pure chocolade. Niets meer, niets minder.
