Velvety is passend, melkchocolade, koffie of eigenlijk cappuccino, donkere mout. Erg aangenaam en smaakvolle Porter die zeker niet te zoet of gemaakt is. Brouwerij is kwalitatief consequent.

Mooie porter. Goeie koffie bitters en caramel van de gebrande mout. Chocolade tonen. Zeker niet te zoet.

Tsja, wat zal ik zeggen? De neus zegt chocolade en caramel. De tong zegt hopbitter wat rokerig maar wat de neus opmerkt valt de tong niet op.

En nog eentje van Founders. Lekker Jumbo. Hopelijk komen er nog meer zo'n verrassingen. Fijne porter, gitzwart, mooie schuimkraag en lekker roasty.

Begint heel zacht met zoete karamel tonen, maar wordt snel steviger van chocolade naar koffie en een dosis bittere hop. Dat laatste had dan weer net niet gehoeven.

Bislang die schwächste Nummer aus der Kiste. Einseitig röstig, dahinter irgendwie keine klaren Noten erkennbar. Immer noch rund, aber für sein Geburtshaus eher konfus.
