Whoa. Potent. First sips are difficult, then it’s doable. But not enjoyable. Except that 1 is enuf to get me buzzed - that part is nice.

Dark amber brown. Sweet pancake syrup nose. Same on the palate with a touch of bitter roast and fruity malts.

Really disappointed because the original Bastard is so good. Super sweet and heavy on the vanilla and artificial maple. The barrel is buried in all the sugar.

Smells like a caramel candy-kinda artificial and bordering too sweet. Yankee fall candle but thin, red wine in the rear? Some maple. Very interesting, not my cup of tea though. Don’t know how to describe

Thin. Pretty watery after barley wines and stouts. But it has an interesting event fluffy candy flavor after them too that I like
