Good. Initial sip was good then very boozy on the back. By the third sip, my tongue was conditioned to really enjoy this.

From a bottle produced in 2017. Nearly black with an inch of tan colored head. Smells of bourbon and raisins. Medium body. Roasted malt, raisin, and whiskey flavors. A little sweet but less than other scotch ales. Great, complex flavor. Thanks Obed.

Very good flavors.. Caramel, toffee, malty sweetness with a touch of bourbon and barrel.. I was actually surprised by this one.. very drinkable.. not boozy at all.. only know really is the body.. pretty thin

My appreciation for barrel aged beers has increased since 2018 so I needed to up my rating.

Aroma- caramel and of course bourbon, pleasant barrel smell Taste- a little sweet, malty and alcohol Aftertaste-pronounced very smooth bourbon. Very well

Duften er røget træ. Smag ligeså. Engelsk lakrids, alkohol, tør, røget. Det er voldsomt. Det er lækkert!

Een zachte geur van bourbon, amandel en iets koffie. De geur komt in de smaak terug. Mondgevoel is zijde zacht, zoet en vol. Echt een geniet biertje.
