Love a wee heavy, this has really strong barrel aged character lots of bourbon notes, with burnt sugar and dark chocolate.

Bastard is 11%?! Hitting me now. Bourbon or rum sweet and there is a dark fruit texture to it, like drinking the ingredients of a Christmas cake. Heavy and inky. A hardy winter brew on a cool June evening...

I thought I had had this before, apparently not. Mild scotch flavor with hints of molasses. Pretty tasty.
