I suppose the streak was going to end someday. I have loved every KBS until now. I just don’t get the blueberry combination with the other adjuncts and it just doesn’t work for me.  But at least it’s strong.

Tart chocolate covered berry. Little barrel but the base stout is delish. This may become better with time. 3.85

See previous reviews of various versions of KBS.This release with a lovely blueberry note along w/the usual choco/roasty/malty/oakey/vanilla flavors but a very subdued,bourbon,BA taste.Certainly a smooth fooler of an 11.2%er & a nice,slightly mouthcoating

Tons of blueberry, overwhelms all else, faint classic KBS flavor, just barely , not sure what to make of it

Hunted this one down in great anticipation. There's a bit of tart blueberry in there, but just not a lot of barrel characteristics. CBS is still their king.

Strong blueberry and chocolate but little to no bourbon. It would be decent for a blueberry stout, but for BA, it falls flat.

Meh. Tart. Founders should stick w Original KBS, Mackinac Fudge, Hazelnut, and CBS. Fruit KBS variants have been a miss.

Much smoother and less blueberry than Liz of koz. Well balanced with coffee blueberry and a light vanilla finish. Good variant.
