So as one of those weirdos who thought fresh Lizard of Koz was an outstanding beer, I was really looking forward to this one. It's good but definitely not on the same level. The coffee kinda kills it...

Just unrefined barrel all around with an off putting backlash of blueberries kbs has always been harsh compared to bcbs and likes but this is over the top… blue skys blue berry’s

A tasty KBS variant with dark chocolate, coffee and blueberry. The barrel-aging adds an additional layer of complexity.

Nice dark color, not much of a head at all. Nice aroma of blueberries, vanilla and coffee. Taste is enjoyable with the blueberry very strong with touches of vanilla, coffee, and a hint of the oak barrels. Great beer just wish it wasn’t 11.2%.

I was afraid this was going to be Lizard of Koz all over again, but it’s not. It’s what I wanted Lizard of Koz to be. Subtle blueberry, not overly sweet, with strong barrel and vanilla notes. Solid redemption Founders…

Blueberry isn't integrated well. Just tart berry on top of a stout. Turned this into a stout float which wasn't bad.

Pretty well done... Keep wrestling with rating 4 or 4.25... What the heck, I can't name a beer that uses Blueberries better than this. Round up it is...

It's Syrupy (and not in a good way). Yes, blueberry is there, but I feel that it's a bit artificial. I can't taste any of the barrel, so I'm not really sure where the barrel aged profile is coming from.
