Too much blueberry, doesn't taste enough like KBS to me

I think this is 2 KBS variants in a row I’ve had before Scottie and Lindsay L. - is there a badge for this?! Shades of Lizard of Koz, but better

Pretty decent, not my favorite in the KBS lineup tho. The blueberry is subtle

The blueberry is a little overpowering and a bit artificial tasting

One month later this has gone full blown Lizard of Koz...which is absolutely not a beer for me...just way too sweet.

First time for a KBS offshoot. The boozy decadent KBS finish is jolted by bright and tart blueberry. Not bad by any stretch, it’s definitely a flavor journey - interesting, but I’d take the original.KBS.

Thought it could be a little more mind blowing for the price… it’s ok. Still KBS so it’s automatically good.

Decent. The blueberries make the bourbon subtle. Very smooth.

My least favorite of the KBS variants. Blueberry overpowers the base KBS

Excellent, yummy, blueberries come through despite the strong flavors of the KBS

Awful, lost the core KBS notes, basically undrinkable flavor combination.

Subtle blueberry taste, maybe even to smooth for a KBS. HAD TO TRY IT

I guess I was hoping for a little less tart from the blueberry🤷🏼♂️

Imperial stout. Classic KBS flavor of roasted chocolate and coffee with a bourbon after taste. The difference is add a little bit of blueberry into the mix, making it a tad sweeter.

Blueberry is not very prominent. OG is still better.

There's a reason it has a legendary status. Consistent and delicious with a little extra sweet and tart tinge from the blueberries.

Not sure if it's just the way the blueberry plays off the coffee, but there's a syrupy aspect to this that is just a bit off.

Blueberry stouts seem to be difficult. I say this as someone who has blueberries in his cereal every morning. This one works partly because the chocolate is minimal; light coffee works better. & partly because the bourbon blends well w/ blueberry.

I’m usually not a fruity beer guy, but this is oh so nice! Pours dark and rich with bourbon notes and subtle blueberry sweet with a tart finish. A perfect hot weather stout!

Rich and decadent. A very good Imperial Stout. Very well balanced as the blueberry is not overpowering. Just a hint of the bourbon barrel. Another solid Founder's beer.

It's decent. I had hoped for more decadent. Needs more barrel. The bueberry is sour and a little too much. Would have preferred something sweeter.

That’s perfectly balanced. Founders does a good job on hiding the booze.

Flavoring is spot in and I have no complaints. Except Eric’s a fag.
