2018 CBS I found at a local store in town, aged 5 years. Best CBS I’ve had.

Good but not what I'd hoped given that it's Founders and has so many elements I like. I think it was just too much and ended up a mishmosh instead of a distinct profile. Still, will try again to see if opinion holds.

Found this bad boy out and about today. Bottled on 10/16/23. Compared to the last time I had this, the chocolate has come through more and the coffee finishes this quite well. Maple has worn off and offers a very settle sweetness. Not the same as of OG.

I love the kbs line. But I just can't dig this. Too much going on to enjoy. Then again I don't utterly love maple. But, it is a nice, complex beer I recognize is well done. Just not my flavor.

Sweeter than I expected. Rich and boozy but smooth. Chocolate, coffee, maple syrup notes.
