Trying this one at long last. Rich, chocolate, bourbon, and a roasty coffee/maple aftertaste. Great stuff.

Sweet, coffee, bourbon and maple on the nose, lacking a little body, bourbon and coffee up front, leaving to maple and bourbon on the finish.

Work week done so I stayed in. I have to be honest I feel this beer was hyped too much. It is very sweet. Not too boozy. In interest of being objective: KBS got 4.50 from me. This is good beer, and that’s most important.

2nd review. This time aged 1yr. Color is pitch black zero light through. Aroma is maple bourbon. Coffee. Vanilla. Woody. Roasty. Taste is incredibly smooth. Well balanced. Good roasty bitter. Coffee. Chocolate. Maple syrup. The aging smoothed it even more
