Tops. So complex with flavors yet so balanced. Sweet balanced with bitter. Maple vs dark chocolate vs coffee vs roasty. Just right. Smooth easy drinker. Like a find booze. Take time to sip and savor. Let warm.

For some reason, I thought Founders wasn't going to produce this stout anymore in favor of KBS. That said I don't think it's as good as last year's.

Amazing on nitro - 4.5, 4.75, what the hell, how could it be better? So, 5 it is. Doesn’t happen very often.

Very creamy and the chocolate notes really stand out. After changing my oil and fixing my loves toilet and shower drain a great night cap indeed. Mmm....

One of Best Maple Stouts! Founders Maple Mackinac pushes the Fudge, a bit more. If you have never experienced this, give it a try. 😊🍺🎨🍻🍻

A bottle off 2019. Still a little boozy but getting there. The smokey goodness has set in nicely.

Here’s a beer that lives up to the hype. Incredible balance of coffee, bourbon, maple, oak, vanilla, and roasted malt.

Unbelievably good barrel aged stout. Among my favorite beers ever, but is beat definitively by BCBS Special #4 2020. Sweet notes of maple (less than you'd think) and chocolate mix with coffee. Dark fruits. Better than KBS. Well worth the extreme premium.

A sublime example of the intersection of barrel aging and just solid brewing with good ingredients. A rich boozy decadent beer with a little punch.

First stout from Founders. Don’t let the hype and often pretentious reviews of a beer such as this one dissuade you from drinking—it’s fantastic. Heavy maple syrup, chocolate, and bourbon without being too sweet or overpowering at 11%. An insipidity brew.
