Nez grain de café, grué de cacao et fût. En bouche liquoreuse, torréfaction, sirop d'érable. Saveur complexe avec très longue tenue en bouche. On a le café/cacao, puis le sirop, puis le fût. Un délice !

Cold, there’s lots of coffee in this bottle, overwhelming the maple syrup. As the beer warms up, the maple syrup starts to come through, adding some sweetness to balance out the bitterness of the coffee.

2nd review. This time aged 1yr. Color is pitch black zero light through. Aroma is maple bourbon. Coffee. Vanilla. Woody. Roasty. Taste is incredibly smooth. Well balanced. Good roasty bitter. Coffee. Chocolate. Maple syrup. The aging smoothed it even more

Work week done so I stayed in. I have to be honest I feel this beer was hyped too much. It is very sweet. Not too boozy. In interest of being objective: KBS got 4.50 from me. This is good beer, and that’s most important.
