Love this. One of the better NON bourbon barrel stouts I've had. Smooth, sweet (but not overly sweet), with chocolate undertones. Very nice

Cellared for 2.5 years, bottled 17Sep, 2019. It says to drink it fresh, but I took a chance since they don't make it any more. The head formed nicely but didn't last long. The flavor profile is still excellent, with the boozy, bourbon barrel forward.

Really very good. Smooth, chocolate undertones and a solid but not too strong bourbon barrel taste. Not as bitter as founders sometimes is prone to be.

Ăltima Founders de la Semana Santa con la penĂșltima torrija. PredominĂł el cafĂ© sobre el chocolate, pero sigue resultando tremenda!

Dit heeft mij officieel de overwinning gegeven om van stout te houden. Ontbijt is nooit zo goed geweest als dit. Geen saaie boterhammen met kaas maar een bier die een gebrande koffiesmaak heeft, en lekker zoet is van de ahornsiroop.

Vintage? Aroma has nice maple. Velvety, creamy and cocoaish, sweet, mapley, slightly ashy. Doesnât taste as good as it has at its best, but itâs quite suitable for this smoky old school pub. 4.30.

Oh my gosh! What a find!!! This was deliciously chocolatey, with strong coffee notes. The sweetness of the maple plus the strength of the bourbon barrel. Beautiful pour with a chocolate head. So good!
