Interesting brew. Ale aged in bourbon barrels with a strong initial cranberry taste. The bourbon barrel aging offsets the fruitiness of the cranberry. Generally not a fan of fruity beers but pleasantly surprised with Cranfather. Ideal fall seasonal.

Whew! This is freaking good! Maybe it is just me but this is hitting all the spots right now! The smell, taste, mouth feel, all of it is bullseye. Founders has never disappointed but dang they did something fun here.

From last night. Hides ABV incredibly well. Plenty of cranberry flavor. Lands somewhere between a cocktail and a fruity wine. Cranberry definitely makes it appealing for thanksgiving and the cranberry, orange combo will work for Christmas as well.
