Sweet, dark decadence! Lots of chocolate and coffee up front. Maple syrup notes come on the back end. Delicious!

Light body, sweet, maple, dry, the coffee is light. Well balanced. Dry. Light roast. Touch bitterness present throughout the pallet. Nice

It seems they got rid of the maple barrels in favor of basically adding maple syrup to KBS. Good not great.

First time I drank CBS i thought it was amazing. Now I feel it's a good stout but not so unique anymore. I don't feel so much of that barrel aged.

Bottled on 10 16 23. The taste is boozy vanilla. There's some barrel char on the back end. The bourbon flavor is pronounced.
