Stout - Imperial / Double Coffee

CBS is a bold imperial stout featuring chocolate and coffee that has aged in bourbon barrels with maple syrup. The sweet, but balanced, aromas of maple syrup and chocolate fill the air, while notes of toasted oak and vanilla become more profound with every sip – melding together in what can only be described as a transcendent drinking experience.

It's all here in balance. Barrel, maple, coffee, chocolate. They do make a fantastic stout. Makes me sad I haven't seen the Breakfast Stout in sooooo long.

Tja oprindeligt en af mine favorit øl. Duft af mild kaffe. Tynd til middel struktur. Noter af kaffe , chokolade og vanilje. Jeg husker den bedre!.

Not as good as I remembered from 2017. It lacks the richness and sweet maple barrel notes. Rather disappointing after waiting six years for the rerelease.

Inte samma wow som första gången, men visst är det gott! Mörk choklad, lite sumpigt kaffe, Bourbon, värme, vanilj, och en gnutta sötlakrits. Och lite lönnsirap, kunde varit mer.
