The irony here is the 2018 in BLiS barrels is kinda past its prime, while the 2023 with maple syrup added could use some time on it. Still enjoyable though.

Fresher than the 2017, 2018, and 2019. Complexity is not quite there (yet?). More boozy, probably also an age thing. Good so far.

I can’t rate this fairly after drinking that bourbon paradise. Not much bourbon and on the malty side.
