Complimentary taste at City Swig. A huge mouthful of spicy chocolate hiding 12% EtOH. Intriguing but in small doses.

Very good. Sweeter than normal KBS. Spicy? No. Not at all. Smells spicy, but no start or finish.

My favorite stout is a chocolate chili pepper stout and this doesn’t disappoint. A little sweet. I don’t think I could handle another 10oz due to the sweet. But this spicy imperial stout hits the right notes.

I am a huge fan of KBS and have been for the entire eleven years I have been a follower of Craft Beer, and the rating on this is just too low. I think people have a tendency to be overly critical of KBS variants. The spiciness is mild, the chocolate rich.

I’ve been looking forward to this one, because I love spicy beers. It actually heats up more as it gets warmer, but I wish it had a bit more kick to it 🌶️ I’m sick so my taste buds are probably a bit off. Another great KBS variant from Founders

Strong, cacao flavor, not a ton of heat, certainly not a spicy as the dog series by BrewDog or anything by Prairie
