Boozy nose follow by a strong boozy spiced chocolate taste fresh from the fridge. Booze note lightens as it warms with the chocolate & spice becoming more dominant in the nose & taste.

Chocolate, light Chili pepper notes with no spice. Lightest bourbon notes I've had in any KBS. Pretty disappointing. Still smooth though

Surprisingly dry, which is odd because regular KBS is super sweet. Not much chocolate, but I am getting the chilies.

Another good KBS variant w/nice mouthfeel/balance; certainly a smooth fooler of a 12%er & a malty/choco/roasty/javaish/slightly capsaicin-peppery-spicy flavor & lingering aftertaste. Good starter imp stout for those pepperhead curious. And oh, hey, LOOK!!

Better than chocolate cherry and blueberry, but KBS hasn’t had a really good release since Spicy Chocolate gave me a rusty trombone in between her sets at Henry the Eights in 2019.

Pitch black pour with a thick brown head. The aroma is faint chocolate and coffee. Taste is similar to the nose, faint chocolate and coffee. Hints of caramel and toffee. Almost no pepper heat. Decent body. Ok, but very lacking.
