Remember when you really looked forward to a KBS release? I think they've thrown in the towel. It's good, but like most variants (and even the main version these days), it's underwhelming.

Last night. Bottled 12/27/2023. Very woody, very dry. Tons of chocolate. Becomes earthy. Sweetened cinnamon. Mild chili heat, but it's mostly on the tongue early.

Dark chocolate, bourbon, hot peppers heat and spice, thin yet flavorful. It’s not in your face hot rather just enough to tell you it’s there. Very good! Pairs well with this cold, windy, rain to snow night! Stay safe and warm!

First! Smooth, malty, smoky, sweet and a little spicy. I would like just a little more heat on the back end, but this is very well balanced. Really liking this offering from Founders!
