The yeast in the aroma almost smells like a sour, so when it tastes light a lightish stout, it's difficult to reconcile the two senses. Not getting this "rich roasted" flavour they mention. It's a bit ordinary.

Definitely more of a BIPA than a stout, and for that reason I love it. Loads of coffee and liquorice. Musty oak and smokey notes, light chocolate hints and bags of berries. Yesssss.

It's almost fruity it's that hoppy. It's got better as time has gone on

Takes me back to the glory days of the black IPA. May they soon return.

BIPA kan li stilen men for ubalanceret. For lidt ristet og for bitter

Tør og bitter hele vejen igennem og let ristet og let kaffet i smagen, ikke så meget dybde dog.

Cocoa, leather, pound cake, milk chocolate, fig aromas, mbroad body, flavours follow aromas with an initial dry hoppy note that then settles with clay

My first thought was “chocolate” and my second and third thoughts were “COFFEE” and “ALL OF IT”. Lots of coffee and lots of the following bitterness. Almost too much tbh - it makes it unbalanced. The taste *is* fine though.
