Booze, oak, vanilla, roasted malt, some dark chocolate and coffee along with a touch of sweetness for balance. The vanilla and sweetness lingers pleasantly. Thick body. Enjoyable even with a oversaturated palate.

Great BA notes, but it would really benefit with some aging

Gorgeous, balanced, best at room temp. So many dear friends in one can!

A somewhat modest base beer with a bit too much carbonation, but with a very nice profile from the barrel. Whisky, vanilla, oak, chocolate and coffee.

Coffee, light vanilla, Cedar, earth, light chocolate, paranut aromas, med body, light sweet licorice, earth, light roast and vanilla, milk chocolate, light cough syrup flavours. Jeppe P. got it right. It's, even through smoothness, a surprise lightweight

Everytime I see a big BA stout from a good DK brewery I get my hopes up and everytime I'm left disappointed. Thin, roast, no barrel.

Slightly roasted and with a typical apple “sour”feeling from whiskey in nose. Taste is roasted with a little smokey touch at the back. Thin mouthfeel. I do not get any real BA feeling here at all. Warming!

Dark roasted and sweet malty, rich chocolate, cocoa nibs, fudge and caramel oozing sweetness, mellow coffee roast, full bodied with whisky soaked wooden accents throughout the warming lingering dark malty finish. Very nice autumn/winter warmer.
