Punkin Ale

Pumpkin / Yam Beer

A full-bodied brown ale with smooth hints of pumpkin and brown sugar. We brew our Punkin Ale with pumpkin meat, brown sugar and spices. As the season cools, this is the perfect beer to warm up with.

I rate this one so highly mainly because of the nostalgia. It's still great though and one of my favorite pumpkin beers

Good. Balanced. Good for cold weather by fired. Def taste the brown ale. Spice is enough. Bottle or glass is good.

Classic! Nose bursting with hotball cinnamon and mince pie notes. Taking a sip, the beer is medium in body with burnt brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vegetal pumpkin.

Forget pumpkin spice latte season. Give me punkin from dogfish every year and I’ll know fall is coming. Love this brew start to finish every time!

Tina

I had this in 2012 and didn’t rate it favorably, but I enjoyed it today. Takes me back to the Cambridge Brewing Co. pumpkin ale which was the best when I worked there in 1997. Ha!

Oh my heck yeah. "Like drinking pumpkin pie" at the front, but without being too sweet and changes by the time it hits the pallet to more of and ale-y taste. Top tier pumpkin beers.

Nose is gentle, hints of ginger and caramel. Taste is more pronounced: ginger and nutmeg up front, full palate reminiscent of pumpkin, hint of cinnamon. Noticeable absence of clove which brings this to the top of my pumpkin spice love list! Mild finish

Tasty and Great. Great warmth of a toasty Ale and that Tasty pumpkin spice with a touch of hop character that make this Pumpkin Ale a fantastic fall treat.
