120 Minute IPA

IPA - Imperial / Double

The Holy Grail for hopheads! Clocking in at 15-20% ABV, 120 Minute IPA is continuously hopped with a copius amount of high-alpha American hops throughout the boil and whirlpool, and then dry-hopped with another pallet of hops. Unfiltered and abundently hoppy.

I hate to just repeat everyone else and say "boozy," but, yeah, that's the big one. A little sweet and toasty.

Plenty of booze in the few ounces I'm sharing. Third time I've had it. First time on the West Coast.

This known hop monster works for similar reasons as does Dogfish Head’s 90 Minute IPA: the crazy hops are well balanced with a strong, sweet, boozy malt. It’s a thick beer, which also boosts the malt. And it’s 18% ABV.

Really great. Strong. Balanced hoppy with the over the top boozy taste. Like a nice wine or bourbon. Very enjoyable.

Had no idea what I was getting in to. More like enjoying a fine wine or a scotch than sucking back an IPA. Appreciate the craft, but not something I’ll turn to often.

If you're living in Lexington (Blueville) for 3 weeks, you gotta have something this strong to get you through it 😫

3/30/17 bottle. Harsher “rubbing alcohol” type smell, sharper bite. Still enjoyable

Don't get me wrong...it's good...but man that's about as dank as I can go before it tastes like syrup. Also it's 16.9% ...not 18.

Just a beautiful beer. How they get that much ABV and not taste overly boozy is insane. One of my favorites. Tasted with friends and each wrote their impressions. One just said “sex”, which seems accurate. It’s that good
