I bought this in 2017 and heard that it aged very well so it’s been in a box for almost 5 years. Amazing robust and boozy flavor with the hops dulled down.

It was strong and expensive. I can say I had it but that’s about it.

Hopheads, rejoice! And may it never go out of favor, eh? The maltiness, booziness, coma-iness, deliciousness that is the 120 from @dogfish! 🍻

Finally got to try one of my bucket list beers! I thought about saving this bad boy until my birthday but I couldn’t wait! 😆

This is one of my all-time favorite IPAs. The process of making this beer, can be tasted in the notes. Hopped over a 120 minute boil and then dry-hopped for over a month, makes the flavors really special. You can also age this beer for several decades.

What I noticed first were the boozy, sugary notes—not the IBUs. Once my taste buds acclimated to this sweetness, I found it somewhat similar to enjoying a barleywine or fortified wine. The price for this experience? $9 and 450 calories per 12 ounces!
