honestly not as gross as i remember it. still more a novelty than anything, but it DOES age well

First one I've had in many years. They dialed the ABV all the way down to "only" 16.6%, which improves it quite a bit. It still tastes more like a very hoppy barleywine than an IPA, but at least it lost the motor oil consistency of previous editions.

Well, gol dang. First time having this and it is TERRIFIC. So tasty. The color and consistency of the composition is an art in itself.

This has sweet stone fruit, and a touch of honey notes, extremely easy drinking for an 18% Be careful ! lol think i’m going to get some more !

Vintage 2019 the last of it (they ran out a few minutes later on tap). Still heavy hopped and high Ibu maybe a little smoother.

08/30/2019 bottle: sweet notes on the nose. Strong abv, drinks smooth. 90 min my fav still

Very boozy and strong. So malty that it's not even enjoyable. Absolute malt bomb. Buy again: Not even for the fun of it

This is a completely different animal on draght. Super hoppy, nice balance of caramel. Fantastic beer.
