Puts imperial in imperial IPA. Very much of a hoppy barley wine. Both hop and malt/alcohol forward. Clean and strong, full bodied.

I’ve had this for a solid 5 years. Held up quite well.

(stored in the fridge 5 years to test the “Ages Well” label claim) Almost shocking how beautifully this has aged. Rich, integrated, lightly caramelized savors. Complex, smoothly balanced palate.

Comically strong! Like a quad with some jet fuel added, with the classic raisin and cherry notes on top of the alcohol. Whoo! Just one is fine with me!

Still, "wow" I forgot I had tried this beer, but I didn't forget it's taste

Graduation of my oldest son calls for this 4 year aged to be enjoyed!

Can't say I've ever really had a burning desire for this, but when you're here, you gotta give it a try

My sister-in-law said this tasted like “something sweated out of her arm pit”. Still didn’t ruin it for me. Love this beer.

Definitely can taste the booziness. Lots of hoppy flavor without being too bitter. Really nice caramel and toffee notes, especially in the finish. Almost has a cognac vibe because of the tail-end sweetness.

Second time checking this in. Now that I'm a beer snob, it has some heat. Still good but not a 4.75
