Very good for 18% or more, smooth flavor, full bodied.

OMG! Epic and massive 18% stout that is sweet, deep and rich in flavor and complexity. Caramel and toffee with plenty of coffee kind of buried between a boozy sweetness. It’s an amazing beer!

One of my all time favorites. Wish you were here, Scott.

Aged a long time. Not sure what year. 2016, maybe? Deep, rich beer, almost tasting like bourbon and cognac. Raisin and almost earthy notes, chocolate.

So rich and boozy. Nice molasses seems like? I could get used to this!

Working through some of the older inventory. The 18% is definitely coming through.😃

2019 bottle. Still super boozy. Needs another couple years to mellow out.

Aged for about a year and a half, smooth taste and high percentage is welcome.

WOW!!! One of the best! Super creamy. Love the thickness and how dark it is. Can not see through it AT ALL! Big coffee taste to go along with the booze. Perfect way to end a perfect weekend. Cheers!

Smooth, strong, and dark. Always delicious, always a favorite

Another example of Jim Koch’s fucking up what was once an excellent brewery. This is much boozier than it was. Much thinner mouthfeel. Still has deep dark flavor. Dark fruit and dark chocolate notes.

Stong, the alcohol is the first, second and last thing you taste. Dark with a whisper prunes.

Incredible stout, rich and flavorful body with notes of fig, raisin and prune.

Perfect dessert with this one going through macchiato beans. Smelled just like coffee
