Brew date 2016. Taste date 2023. Super dark very ominous. Like a nicely charred dark chocolate marshmallow with hints of vanilla bean. Supper slow sipper. Our batch was probably close to 20%.

With a high IBU I was expecting this to be bitter and chewy but it’s surprisingly smooth. Dark roasty chocolate. It’s boozy but not a “punch you in the teeth” (in a good way) as a Black Tuesday

Oh my, could be the night-ender. 18.0%, shelved for 2 years. Sooo smooth. Tame aroma. Palate has bit of star anise, roasty coffee notes, raisins, warming booziness. Very tasty stuff - cheers Paul A.! 4.35⭐️.

A beautiful 5th experience with this epic 18% gem. Saved it to share with my Down Under brother. Smooth. Subtle. Extremely dangerous.

thick, rich, deep, and full flavored. super yummy. better as it comes up in temp from the refrigerator. coffee and chocolate flavors. can't wait to drink this again

(Actually drank this last night when Untappd's SREs were desperately trying to fix their API layer/server/cluster/whatever.) Very boozy and sharp right out of the bottle, definitely let it breathe. Much smoother later. Maybe I was just drunk, 😆? 15.5%!
