Wow, this is amazing! Hoppy, boozy, sweet, smooth and really packs a punch. Thank you so much Been R. for this wonderful treat, so happy I got to try it on my visit. 😍

I can’t visit Delaware and not have this classic. Such a great beer and one I could for sure drink often. Thank you Been R. for the beer and for encouraging the day drinking! 😂

This has been in my fridge for aaaages and I swore I would drink it before the end of my vacation. It is time. 😮‍💨 I love cherries, but I’m not a big fan of sour cherries. It tastes as expected: sweet, sour, cherry, acidic, artificial, but drinkable.

Mikkeller fest in my town - of course I have to be there! 🇩🇰🇩🇰🇩🇰 Easy drinking Pilsner, goes down very easily in the sun. Light, hoppy, malty, hint of citrus.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa B

This is by no means bad, but I think I was expecting more. Cocoa is the dominant flavour, with vanilla and cinnamon more subtle. Nice BA smoothness, a little boozy and way thinner than I would have liked. No surprise there. 😏😂

Kærlighed Spring/Summer 2023 B

Some beers are meant to be enjoyed in the sun. This is one of them. In any other context, it would be very forgettable, but it’s perfect on the balcony this warm, sunny spring day. 😌 Light, refreshing, citrusy, hoppy, dry finish. Happy NBT! 🥳🍻

I fancied something a little different tonight, so thought I’d give this a whirl. And it really hits the spot for a great sipping beer. Vanilla and caramel, dried fruit, orange, hint of cherry and bourbon. Sweet and boozy, just like me. 😁🍻

KBS Hazelnut B

My nightcap for the evening, I’m ready for bed now. 👵🏻😂 Great version of the KBS, hazelnut there but not overpowering, subtle coffee, chocolate, hint of booze, nice and thick. Just a smidgeon too sweet. Thank you Frank A. for the “company” tonight! ☺️

Happy Mead Day! 🥳 This tastes very much like a sour peach candy, sweet and sour with lots of peach flavour. Some underlying honey sweetness, tart in the finish. 🍑

We Stand With Ukraine B

#StandWithUkraine 🇺🇦 It feels a bit odd to rate a beer that’s brewed for a cause like this, but I suppose I should. It’s a deep, malty red ale, roasty and caramel flavoured. Nice balance between bitter and sweet. 🌻💙💛

Black currant lemonade with an 8% ABV? Yes please! 😁 I don’t often drink mead, but it’s usually a very pleasant experience. This is packed with black currant flavour, nice balance between sweet and tart. Good stuff! 🥰

Beer Geek Flat White Kieni Coffee B

Mikkeller beer tasting, beer #5. There are worse locations to have a tasting! 🥰 I love my coffee and love my coffee stouts. This is a good coffee stout. Packed full of coffee flavour, hint of sweetness, creamy. As always, could be a bit thicker. 😌😁

Nelson Sauvin Brut 2020 B

Mikkeller beer tasting, beer #3. Very different beer, almost like a dry, rustic cider. Apple flavour, slightly bitter, some citrus. Interesting, just not sure it’s my kind of thing. 🤔

Mikkeller beer tasting, beer #2. Very light, lots of citrus, very easy drinking… dare I say crushable? 😁 I could see a few of these going down on a hot day. 😎🍻

Not sure I would describe this as solid gold, but it is drinkable. The last of the average beers, let’s move on to beers that actually have flavour! 😁 I’ve got a feeling this is going to be a long night and that I’ll regret my life choices tomorrow… 😰

LCI. Chocolate fudge bomb with strong coffee flavour. Maybe that’s why I had trouble sleeping after...? 🤔

Making up for my pitifully slow drinking tonight by finishing with a strong one. ☺️ 11.9% and you can taste it! Bourbon, coffee, sweetness... just a smidgeon too boozy for me. Cheers and happy Friday, beer friends! 🍻🍻🍻
