It aged very well - including the oceanic travel to Asia!

Boozy fruitsplosions. Strong af. Like a fruit jam spread in your mouth and on your tongue.

My palate has matured, I enjpy this more. Even knowing it is 18% ABV, I was not prepared for that alcohol. Like a kicked up red wine.

Not as heavy as I thought it would be. Pretty good taste 🤘

Not the most appealing color, resembles something half digested that I horked back out. Boozey-fruity nose. Very strong, like bear. Rich, intense, reminiscent of port. Subtle chocolate? The more I sip, the more I like.

Another rare find thanks to my distributor! Almost wine-like taste to it. 3 years again in a cellar before buying it. Very satisfying!

Amazing berry flavor and a familiar dogfish backbone

Closer to port wine than beer but delicious nonetheless. 18% well hidden behind the taste of gourmet berry jam.

Wow, hard to describe this one. This will def get you in trouble if you didn’t know it was 18%. Unfiltered, tart, deliciousness. Cheers 🍻

I wish they put the year it was bottled so I know how long this aged for so far. Either way - can’t go wrong with an 18% beer. Always a solid choice.

Love it!! High ABV beers from Dogfish are exceptional

This beer is insane. Probably around 17% alcohol right now and yet blindfolded I would think about 8. It’s so heavily fruited and somewhat fermented, yet nothing stands out in leaves anything else trailing behind. It’s a gorgeous dance.

Aged now two years. Very boozy now with a mellow berry flavor. Slightly tart. Very good. Slight jolly rancher finish.

Strong! Good mix of barleywine and fruit. Not super fruity.

A $12 bottle. Split this one with the wife. A thick sipper that gives an after burn on the palette that lingers before turning into a dry wine-like aftertaste.
