Got a lot better after warming up, a chai like cream ale. Would like a lactose version

Light spicy aroma and a nice spice blend on drinking. Very palatable.

Dogfish Head is never afraid to push the envelope and I can appreciate that. This cream ale is a bit spicey. Star anise, cardamom and ginger kinda dominate everything else. They usually put out a more balanced experience. Collaboration with Sam Adams.

I have to revise my rating... This stuff is growing in me. Subtle, but interesting

Certainly unique flavors, which is probably why it’s rated as high as it is. It’s almost got a root beer float quality, but the turmeric and cardamom coming through make it verge on perfumey

Reminds me more of chai tea than beer ( but I’m a fan of chai tea, so this is pretty good 😁)

Interesting spice combo in this one. But otherwise unremarkable

Pretty interesting. Doesn’t really taste like anything else, it’s unique. Spiced ginger, creamy vanilla, star anise, and somewhat refreshing. I wish it was lower ABV, but I dig it.

Pretty good. Cream ale with spiciness( the ginger seems prominent) and hides the 8% abv. well.

The spiced reminds me of cinnamon. Not my thing but better than a normal cream ale

Different, kind of like a porter. Thicker, heavier.

BFTON - Can’t remember where or when I got this. Never had “Golden Milk”, it was odd but it worked and was quite tasty.🍻1️⃣❤️🌎☮️
