I was literally watching The Golden Girls getting ready for a gig when I found out Betty's gone. I wrote her a fan letter when I was 7. This is PAINFUL. Canceled my gig, lit up some candles, can't stop crying, maybe 16% ABV will help a little.

That's a cool beer. Like a quad and a barleywine. Brown sugar and raisins, clove, very sweet up front but doesn't finish cloying. Booze is subversive. But you know you're drinking a bomb. Thx Martin S. Ben B.

Not what I thought, but not disappointed. This was four years old. The sweetness had mellowed.

"This is a bulbous brown ale brewed with an obscene amount of malt, brown sugar and raisins." I like big beers and I cannot lie. This comes in at 16.5% 🤗😎😁

14%. Doesn’t drink like that at all. Good ale notes and the raisin comes shining through.

Bottle 01/11/19. I think the sweetness mellowed out and it strikes a perfect balance

2014! It was horrible! If anybody has any of this in their closet let me know. I will buy it at a very low price so you don't take a hard beating. 😁

Nice sipper, raisins added a flavor that takes me back to a drink my dad made by soaking raisins in vodka.
