Decided to crack in to this legend of a brew! Had this one in the cellar for almost 2 years. First, that color! Second, the nose nearly got me tipsy just smelling it. Ive sipped strong ales that cant hold a candle to this beast. Got better as it warmed

All sorts of wonky with this one. Dry hopped spontaneously fermented sour ale. Barnyard funk, citric acid tartness, stone fruit (especially peach), with a dry finish. Not really detecting the hops, but this one grew on me as I sipped. Bottled 07/04/2021

Not rating. I think this sat somewhere way too long… Picked up mid Feb 2024. Cap lists Aug 19, 2017. There are no IPA characteristics. Nose is musty with a hint of fruit. Not sure how to describe the flavor. Color is quite dark. Label art is cool though!

Kentucky Bourbon Stout (KBS) (2021)
Chocolate, coffee, vanilla, and bourbon all come thru strong, but all together the blend itself tastes oddly medicinal to me when cold. More creamy-boozy as it warms.
