A little sweeter than I remember. The age definitely mellowed it out a bit.

Was initially hesitant to get this boozy beast & I def could feel it, but still such a smooth treat. Of course loads of dark fruit character

Not as sweet as past years, but still not my thing. "You can't even taste the alcohol!"

I reached level 1 on 2/26/2015. Over 6 years later, it’s the end of the road. #nbt 💯

Very dark and raisiny —- DFH does these barrel aged beers in this vein well

No 120 in the cellar to celebrate today, so this raisin juice should be good enough

More yeast & burnt toffee on day 2 of the growler. Less sweetness; more tang. It’s cool seeing how these beers change over the course of a couple of days of being open.

This beer brings me so much joy. Yeasty, boozy, caramel-filled aroma & flavor. Pure raisin (regular & golden), calimyrna fig, sticky toffee, oak, vanilla bean, & bread pudding. Silky. Boozy, dessert-like, lingering finish. Dangerously easy to drink.

So boozy and sweet. Dark raisins. Fig. Toffee. Syrupy. Delicious and dangerous. Not bitter. Dessert beer. Great for work! I love it.

12/29 Amber with minimal head. Smooth but like drinking raisins that have been sitting in alcohol. Boooozy!

Wow, I guess knowing the abv beforehand would have been helpful, that snuck up on me real quick! Not bad, not really my taste, but still a good beer overall.

Massive nose of bright raisins and grapes. Malty with a finish of hot alcohol. Bubbly and carbonated. Rich dark fruits and viscous mouthfeel.
