Was hoping for a little more s’mores taste to it, but still a nice milk stout

I remember when DFH beers knocked your socks off. Now, not so much.

Trying to make a dent in my massive dark beer collection before it gets warm. So so stout - not all that s’moresy really.

Bottled in October. Hard pour. Nice head. Cocoa. Faint cinnamon. No vanilla. Thankfully not sickly sweet.

The description of this beer sounded amazing. I was expecting it to taste like a s'more, but sadly that wasn't the case. It was a good porter though and I'm definitely going to try this again to see if I can get that flavor profile.

Really dark to the point I can not taste the marshmallow or cinnamon taste. I wish I could have this taste more like a s’more.

Funky! Not at all too sweet, despite the genre and extra marshmallows.

Very light, in fact I think it’s a little too light for the style of beer.

A hair of age has flattened this. Still ok but not as flavorful.

For a dogfish beer I’d hoped the adjuncts would be a bit more pronounced. Albeit it’s only 6.5 abv and not a imperial but still wanted more. Not bad but doesn’t live up to the ingredients listed.

A lightweight Stout with smoky chocolate and vanilla notes.

Sweet creamy chocolate notes. Not really picking up on the marshmallow or graham crackers, but that's ok. It's fine without them.
