I Remember My First Check-In - Rehoboth Brewpub

Sour - Fruited

I Remember My First Check-In is a global collaboration to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the social beer drinking app Untappd. Participating breweries were asked to interpret a base recipe, adding their own spin looking to local farmers within 100 miles for ingredients. The Dogfish Head Brewings and Eats Brewery version is brewed from barley and wheat malt grown and malted here on Delmarva. We’ve made a spritzy, effervescent sour/cider hybrid with fresh apple cider from Fifer Orchards in Camden-Wyoming, DE which contains a blend of 4 fantastic apple varieties. Even our lactobacillus is local having been grown in our Milton Lab by microbiologist Aimee Garlit. Now THAT’S f*!@ing local

Easy drinking with a noticeable influence from the cider. Still can’t believe I never saw one of these beers from any other brewery out there - only got to try one thanks to Ian S. saving one for me.

Huge shout out to Becca P. for sharing this one with #drinkingsocially I’m hoping for a LOT of apple cider to pair with this chicken.

Easy drinker. Not much flavor. Thought it would be more cider-ish from all the apples. Kinda bland.

Only right that my 2500th check in is from the same brewery where I had my first. Dogfish head. 60 minute was my first. Cheers to my job at dogfish and to this great beer

Not a fan of the sour taste, but the apple flavor sort of cancels it out. Very light though

Very strong cider. I’m not blown away by this. It’s good, just hoping for more with this one.
