Nice orange and plum nose, a little heat but fairly tame for 17%. Kinda oaky/woody, plum, dark fruit, spice

The scent of oak and alcohol battling for domence. Continuing to assert their aggressive presence on your pallet, but now joined by dark fruits of raisins and prunes with perhaps a hint of baking spice.

Quality beer. Not what you’d expect. I like to say if a vodka soda and an ipa had a kid, this is it. You definitely get more of that residual effect in the throat like taking a shot, but with a nice smooth hoppy aftertaste.

Lots going on in the aroma. Fresh fruit, barrell, definite hops. This will transform as it warms.

Boozy but smooth. Sweet with dark fruits, caramel, toffee. Rich and desserty.

Little carbonation. Big sweet taste. Alcohol tingle after a sip or two. This is so good you could get in trouble drinking it too fast.

Slow drinking. Great with a hefty meal of roasted veggies and meat!

Wow, was expecting more hops and less sweet, but extremely good. Glad I splurged and bought a 4 pack.. ;-)

Oak-y raisins and dates with some honey and vanilla, hints of orange and lemon, smooth but also boozy. Not much IPA going on but it is fantastic. Almost makes me want to try Utopias, which likely ain’t happening. 🍻

I’m not sure it’s an improvement on 120minute, but it does introduce an interesting new direction. I wonder if these barrels will now be used to condition DFH’s new whiskey…? Great staff at the tap room - really enjoyed it.

Ya un barley wine. Intensa, alcoholosa. Muy dulce, frutos secos, madera, amarga. Bieeen difícil de tomar, la neta.
