The Utopias is on full display. The normal 120 hop profile is truly masked by the barrel. The aroma is all Utopias. Alcohol warming that fades quickly. Lingering flavors are reminiscent of a barleywine. Would love to age a bottle or two of this.

Woah. If blond barleywine was a thing, this would fit right in. Outstanding wood complexity, spicy and savory, caramel and black cherry, beautifully rounded hops. What a treat.

This is a damn unique, enjoyable beer; but it’s a freshie (2023)… I almost regret opening it: I betcha it will be exponentially better after laying down in the bottle for 12-18 months. So damn good; BUT as is, the booziness & hoppiness kinda clash a bit.

So it isn't my cup of tea. It's so sickeningly sweet I can barely sip it. Not to say that it's bad. Because it's not bad. It's... Just different. I want to keep a bottle and let it age a while to calm it down a bit.

17% Imperial IPA Gotta love these guys. None of this messing around with double, triple, or quad. Just Imperial. We’re old enough to read and understand the ABV. This ale is exceptional. Drinks like a Barleywine, not quite as complex, but close. Wild!

OMG! Never had a 17% beer that was this smooth. It’s still a sipper though. Utopias takes the 120 minute to another level. TYGMGH!
