I dont know what to think of this. Its boozy but not overwhelming. Its caramel y with a hint of raisin. Its not refreshing and not crushable, but also not a torture to drink. Sadly I will rate this lower as it is not a beer I want to come back to.

Quickly becoming a favorite the more I drink it. As it ages, it really leans into a barleywine style and is so damn delicious. Killer malty caramel, vanilla from the whiskey, and a lighter (this time) hop balance. It is both big and complex.

Love finding a great beer hiding in fridge! This has aged very well with that barley wine on steroids palate. Caramel toffee maple with hoppy notes. Has one of the great aromas in beer world with caramel hops & spirits.

Still as wonderful as I remember. A complex and delightful beer that has evolved from its humble origins as an IPA into something else entirely, thanks to the Utopias Barrel aging. A rare gem, and an honor to host at the Vinton Krobar.

A bit smoother than the OG. Not quite the punch, but mellow hops instead - and up from the OG's 14 abv to 17 abv. A dangerous beer.

Surprised the Utopious barrel makes a significant impact. Richer and even more complex than the original 120. This has a year of age on it, which is nice. The alcohol is very well integrated. It tastes big but not 17%.

This beer is just beautiful, this is a such a smooth lightly sweet IPA. It’s almost refreshing, not too dry at all. Very full yet light like honey hugging your tongue. Amazing
