This is... Interesting. A bit too complex for my tastes, but it is malty and sweet with a slightly sour undertone that does not taste off.

Highly complex, deep red/brown barleywine. Red fruits, wine, brown sugar, and caramel all shine through.

Very sweet and fruity. Lots of currant and dark cherry. Boozy, with a lighter body than it looks. Tasty Christmas pudding type flavor!

After a few years it's very different. Distinctly sour, dried fruit rather than sweet/jammy. Would love to be able to directly compare old and new.
