Shelter Pale Ale

Pale Ale - American

This is our original and most approachable beer. We got our start back in 1995 brewing this very beer on our teeny, tiny brewing system at Dogfish Head Brewing & Eats in Rehoboth Beach, Del. Brewed with a premium barley and northwestern Williamette and Columbus hops, Shelter Pale Ale has a fine malt backbone and a slightly nutty flavor. It's a versatile and quaffable beer.

Definitely quaffable. Subtle citrus & woody hops. Good malt base. Clean & smooth with a nice balanced sweetness.

Solid summertime sips for a Memorial Day celebration. Drinks like a brew from the 90s. Simple, malty, bitter and dry. Really delightful brew to kick off the holiday weekend. Happy holiday y’all - Bubblehouse provided by @Tutto/LivelyHive 🇺🇸

2/24/06: 12 oz. Golden copper color, with a thick foamy head. Hoppy flavor with a malty kick. Pretty smooth, with not a rough finish
