Help me understand why people like this beer. I gave up after two sips

I hate this beer so much, but always find myself cracking one open from time to time.

It’s so muddy looking, hahaha, it’s dank and thick, it’s definitely 120

Glorious cellaring, there is only one 120 and Pepperidge Farm remembers

Something about drinking this combo of alcohol and perfume just works.

Still a good beer. Nice stone fruit aroma and it is still very smooth.

Dude it's been a while since I read one of these and they're still delicious. Malty bitter goodness. "All ways in joy"

Strong, muted hops, caramel, toffee, alcohol burn. Love it!

Outta the cellar… aka back of fridge since 2020. It was crystal clear for the first half that I poured through a paper coffee filter to collect sediment. Second half turned it quite hazy. Taste profile has faded to an almost barley wine.

Dank, boozy fo sho (it's 15-20% depending on the year and gets stronger as it ages), and syrupy like a barleywine. But not as overpowering bc the hops help balance it out more. Def worth letting it age. WDA.

Playing catch-up. Day 2 of the Epically Awesome Craft Beer Advent Calendar. Served, appropriately, in a epic glass.

Another gem from the beer vault. As the label says "ages well". This bottle did not disappoint.

Keeping up the tradition and opening up the next bottle from the cellar, now 2 years old. Such a rich and flavorful beer, and nothing like any other IPA I've had. Definitely gets mellower with age. Happy Birthday, bro. ❤️

Bottled 9/15/20. Strong bitterness that lasts until the next sip.
