From yesterday, just a sledgehammer of a beer that is somehow velvety; ages well is an understatement, most of the hard edges are gone. Awesome

Pretty smooth and mellow. Like a warm hug for your belly. LOL!

After ≈ 5 years of cellaring the booziness is still there, but the flavor have really mellowed. That's unfortunate because I like my IPAs violently hoppy. Still good.

Aged this one 6 years. Still hits. Held up well. Boozy and hoppy, probably a little sweeter now. Very good

Getting very close to becoming barley wine. Interesting and enjoyable. The picture is a kill shot from last night, minus the Pilsners and restraint.

An excellent beer with a smooth sweet strong oak barrel finish

Does age well 😋 probably a 4.0 now but still quite good regardless.

In celebration of Lisa (my wife) submitting her final paper for her masters degree. Great achievement!

Deep figgy rinds as I watch TH Celtics… sweet boldness that defined TH initial wave of big, no stout beers

As always with 120, takes a couple sips to settle in, but man, this just gets better with age.

In loving memory of Bailey. Been aging for 6 years. Strong alcohol taste. Very hoppy. Still plenty of carbonation.

Been aging this one since April 2017. Boozy as hell. It definitely has a different taste after aging for 6 years

Way past the IPA stage of it's life. Crossing into wizzle territory. Old AF and just as strong.

Fall release - side note anyone ever wonder where the phrase “happy as a clam” came from…

Peach, vanilla, honey, pine, hints of a citrus tea. The depth of this is incredible with it being 6 years. Carmel/brown sugar on the back with good (strong) notes of pine. One of my favorite 120s I have had to date.

Missed by a year! 2017 to 2023! Almost tasted chocolatey 6 years in!

More pronounced hops and bitterness than 2018, flavor not as malty as 2018, bitterness lingers

Apples. Reminds me of their Barleywine. I’m not mad at it. Sweetness, little carb left. Not cloying at all. Ultra weird brown though. Still a slight burn on the finish. Def a supper. Wowza!!!!! 4.15
