I bought two of these based on the advice of the salesperson. Had one immediately, saved the other for a significant life event or 10 years. Well damn near ten years later, my significant event is getting together with my friends "after" covid. Cheers!

4.4. Excellent! Bourbon front and all the way through. Really mellow and refined.

Don't get the same strength or booze as I do with '08 or '11. Also, the finish doesn't have as much of a bite

Malty, boozy, less caramel than other vintage years, less rich, still tasty

Drank like a...10 year aged ipa lol. No, it had that dark fruit malt with low carbonation. Borderline cask vibes but wasn’t as sweet as anticipated

This beer is so awesome when aged. Digging into my cellar is fun but sad at the same time as I watch some beers go away 😥

Nine years and it’s definitely And obviously on the down slide. Tastes like we are drinking a Barley Wine! Still drinkable!

New job, new place, new adventure. Calls for a beer I had been saving for a special occasion. Merry Christmas everyone

9 years of aging does something to this beer. Goes ipa to barley wine? A lot like a well aged old ale.... Regardless, highly recommend having this fresh and aged! Purchased at dogfish head... Thank you Richard!

Not sure if this is really a 2012, but it was good and the date says 2012 on the bottle

Happy 120 Day continued. Almost 10 years old - sweet and very smooth. Cheers!

This was the very first bottle that started my beer collection. Drank last night with close friends upon finally finishing the Beeradvocate Top 250 after 10 years of trying. Expected nothing, but damn, it was pretty fookin’ good!

It’s a 9-10 year old 120….that’s all you need to know!

Surprised to still taste some earthy, citrusy, resinous hops in here. Malty toasty biscuity leather caramel joins in too. Its a solid American barleywine

Smooth and rich. Malty and rich with a bit of hops. This has aged well.

Wow. Nearly 10 years old and delicious. Rich toffee. A depth that's hard to pick out. Earthy, and a kick of alcohol

Someone brought in a single bottle of this last week when I stopped by Old Irving Brewing. It was both strange and delicious. Boozy, malty and the 10-years aging sure did get it reeeeeeeeal smooth.

Wow. Not the color I was expecting. It’s flat but tasty. I wonder how it was stored for the last 10 years.

I bought this beer not long after I turned 21. It's probably aged better than I have.

There's a lot to love about Bull and Bushy, but one of the amazing things is the awesome kegs they put out on their guest taps!

Stop calling 120 an IPA.. it’s a Barleywine… and a great one at that.
